Big Bass 3in1
Big Bass 3in1 is one of those pick-up-and-play titles that doesn't ask much of you. It bundles three light modes around a fishing theme, and switching between them is fast enough that you never feel stuck in one loop. We spent a lazy weekend with it and kept coming back for short sessions between other things.
Controls are pure tap and swipe, which suits a game you play one-handed on the couch. The pacing is gentle, the animations are cheerful, and nothing punishes you for putting the phone down mid-round. On our older test device it stayed smooth, and battery drain over an hour was modest compared to heavier 3D titles.
It won't reshape your idea of what a mobile game can be, but that isn't the point. Big Bass 3in1 is a calm, tidy little thing that respects your time, and the three-mode layout keeps it from getting stale as quickly as most casual apps.
What we liked
- Three light modes in one clean layout
- Easy one-handed tap controls
- Low battery use for short sessions
