Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG that surprises you on a phone. The writing is more thoughtful than expected, and the turn-based combat gives you room to plan without dragging. Building your party and tweaking their skills becomes the real hook after a few hours.

Menus are clear and the auto-battle option is there for grinding, though the best fights are the ones you steer yourself. It's a heavier game, so keep it plugged in on long sessions. We saw noticeable warmth on the older phone during boss fights, but nothing that hurt performance.

There's a proper sense of progression here, and the story kept us curious enough to push through slower stretches. If you want a real RPG in your pocket, this one earns the time.
