The settings that actually save your battery
Most battery advice for mobile games is folklore. Constantly force-closing apps does almost nothing. The real savings live in the settings menu, and most people never open it.
Frame rate is the big one. Dropping a racer or RPG from 60 to 30 fps often halves the heat and stretches your battery noticeably, and on many games you barely notice the difference in normal play.
Screen brightness and effects come next. High-quality shadows and particle effects are lovely but expensive. Turn them to medium and you'll usually keep the look while cutting drain.
Finally, check whether a game keeps syncing or downloading in the background. Some do, quietly, and it adds up. Restricting background data for the worst offenders makes a real difference over a day.
None of this is glamorous, but ten minutes in your settings beats carrying a power bank everywhere.
